Our goal is to replace the current network design with a new, fast, and an expandable infrastructure. This new design will support high-speed backbone access of 100 MB/S, and at least 10 MB/S access to each host directly connected to the network. Departments will be separated into virtual lans(vLANs), to ease congestion, tighten security, and simplify deployment. Each Department will have a new server, within its V-LAN to provide quick access, and to ease congestion on the backbones. Internet servers are going to be placed in part of the network accessible by the internet, while still providing security to the corporate network itself. Internet Services provided will include Web, DNS, and Email. Space has been set for advancement in the future in backbone and user areas. Access has been provided to all three buildings, and to the security patrol cars.
